We met at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Illinois for what we thought was a super cloudy and over cast day. Right when we began the session the sun came out!

This session was so special for so many reasons! I have known Kristen since middle school! Now that definitely takes me back to the days of my braces, frizzy hair, and clunky glasses. Our lockers were always next to each others because of our last names, so naturally we became friends. When she reached out to me about capturing her maternity/newborn sessions I was so excited! Now don’t get me wrong, I do a happy dance for every single session I do, but there is just something special about being able to freeze those moments for someone that you’ve known for so long!

Just about six more weeks now until we meet their sweet little one and I cannot wait! I already know that Kristen and Todd are going to be the best parents!
