First, I want to say that 2020 was the year of wrenches being thrown into plans (we are looking at you Covid), but together these two made it through the feat of planning a wedding and then replanning it. And those new plans – they were magic! Aly and Ryan tied the knot at the Sheldon Art Museum in St. Louis, MO. This was my first time shooting a wedding there and I really hope that it wasn’t my last because it was beautiful!
All of my weddings are so special, but this one even more so. I have known Aly since I was in high school. We played on the soccer team together! Capturing her wedding made it that much more special because we had been friends for so long before her wedding! Just watching Ryan and Aly together made it so evident why they chose to make those vows to one another. They spent almost the whole day laughing together and it was the best!
Ryan & Aly – I love you two to pieces. I cannot wait to see what marriage holds for you! So excited to celebrate you again at the Sheldon Art Museum this September!
Much love,
Lauren
