Ryan and Brittany are one of those couples that you see laughing all the time! They really are genuinely happy and so much fun to be around!! I met up with them at Rock Springs Park for their engagement session. Fall was showing off here in Southern Illinois and we were thrilled about it! I actually went to high school with Brittany, so when she reached out to me about photographing her wedding I was pumped! There is something so fun about capturing these special moments for someone that you’ve known for years.

Now, I have to share their proposal story with you because Ryan made it so special! These two had recently bought a house together and were planning to be moving boxes all day. They planned to celebrate by having one last dinner in the house they were moving out of. Brittany came home after a long day of moving and Ryan had saved her a bottle of wine to have with their steaks. As they were finishing dinner he mentioned that she might want one more glass of wine to celebrate. She was really confused, but then he got down on one knee and proposed! Brittany said she was so surprised and it was such an amazing last memory in their house!

I am so lucky to work with so many incredible couples and these two are no exception! We had the best time walking around Rock Springs Park during their engagement session and we laughed just about the entire time! I cannot wait for their wedding this fall!
