As I ramp this blog back up, I thought it would be best to include some personal posts too! You can now get to know me better on here and not just on social media. Starting it all off with this one because today is our three year anniversary!! Keep scrolling to see a few moments from our own wedding day. 🙂

Nick and I got married on September 10, 2016. I remember the day before the wedding it rained almost all day, and then on Saturday it was the perfect fall weather we had been hoping for. I remember opening up the letter Nick left for me to open that morning and the excitement/anticipation I felt before seeing him at the church. I remember those “holy crap, we did it” feelings right after we exited the ceremony. I have no clue how we are already celebrating this milestone but here we are. It is absolutely true when people tell you these years go by fast, but they have been full of so much joy, adventures, and some of the best memories!

While this past year has been great, it was also filled with some unexpected challenges that we overcame together. I am so grateful to be able to look back and see that we didn’t let those challenges get us down or get between us. We chose to face those challenges and let them bring us closer together. Our marriage is not perfect by any means, but I am so thankful that he is the one I get to do life with. He knows how to make me laugh on the days I want to cry. He believes in me just as much if not more than I believe in myself. He respects me, listens to me, and always builds me up. I cannot wait for the years to come!
