Hey there – I’m Lauren! I’m so HAPPY you’re here!
I’m a wedding photographer based out of St. Louis. I did not grow up thinking I wanted to be a wedding photographer, but I am so glad that I am! I do my best to make you feel special and taken care of right from the start! I am here to be your photographer and confidant, but also to be your dress fluffer, hair fixer, boutonniere pinner, encourager, and extra bridesmaid!
I absolutely adore my job and love working with ALL of my clients. Wedding days are such a gift and I just love being able to capture them for my sweet couples. I will be there to document your day, make it enjoyable, and be there every step of the way to celebrate with you!
A few other things about me: I have a college degree in criminal justice. Where are my true crime/mystery lovers at?? I love coffee and I am an obsessed dog mom. If that sounds like you, we might already be best friends! Target and Chick-Fil-A are my jam, but to be honest, I don’t usually turn down food or shopping trips. I really do believe in investing in experiences – which is one of the many reason why I love being a wedding photographer.

Where even to begin?!… Lauren is simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! As I was planning the wedding, Lauren was there to answer all of my questions, meet when needed, and take our at home engagement photos. She always went above and beyond to make sure Sean and I had everything we dreamt of. Before our wedding Lauren laid out a day-of schedule and even adapted it last minute to accommodate our wishes. She made sure every element of our day was perfect – from the schedule, to the coordination of photo locations, and even the timing of sunset. I cannot recommend Lauren enough! I knew when I started searching for a photographer that I didn’t really want to go with a large company where I would be sent one of their many photographers. It just felt impersonal. So when I found Lauren’s site, read her bio, and saw her beautiful photos, I thought I might be onto something. Even our first experience talking with her was just so easy – my husband and I lived out of the state at the time so we Facetimed Lauren for our first meeting and she was so sweet! She made us feel special and important from the very beginning. She worked very well with us even though we were out of state, and when it rained and was 32 degrees out on the morning we had planned to do engagement photos, she encouraged us to go ahead and take photos in the rain anyways! We had travelled 6 hours to be here, so we went for it and the photos turned out to be amazing! What could have been a really disappointing experience was turned in to such a fun and exciting one by Lauren’s attitude to it all. And her sweet husband came with her to hold her umbrella while she took our photos. I knew then that we had definitely made the right choice in our photographer. Also, I highly recommend taking engagement pictures with her, it was a great time to get to know her a little better and feel more comfortable taking professional pictures before the wedding. Leading up to the wedding, Lauren was super attentive and easy to communicate with. She utilized Honeybook, which made organization super easy. Then on the wedding day, Lauren captured everything perfectly! She kept us on track throughout the day, but nothing ever felt rushed. She and her second shooter were so encouraging and fun to be around throughout the entire day even though they were on the feet essentially nonstop for 10 hours. As someone who really doesn’t like having my photo taken, Lauren made it so easy. She gave gentle and straightforward instructions to put my husband and I in natural looking poses. She helped keep us laughing and comfortable too. After the wedding, Lauren posted sneak peeks in the first couple weeks and even managed to get all our photos to us early, less than a month after the wedding! I cannot express enough how sweet and hard-working Lauren is. I’m so thankful I found her for our wedding photographer, and I know we will use her again and again in the future for anniversary and family shoots!

I’d highly recommend Lauren as a photographer. In fact, I don’t plan on using any other photographer services for the rest of my life. I first met Lauren when she photographed my elopement. I had no idea what I wanted but what she delivered was beyond anything I ever expected. She made a cloudy day look beautiful! And helped my husband and I with the poses and everything in a very natural and fun way. So I obviously asked her to photograph our wedding reception, and again, she didn’t disappoint. She even helped me fix my hair! Lauren is just an incredible person and photographer!
